Chris McGlinchey of the Ireland Development Team was the overall winner of the Kerry Group Ras Mumhan cycling event after the final stage in Killorglin, Co. Kerry today. The 21-year-old Belfast cyclist was the first winner on Good Friday and retained his lead for the entire weekend, despite the valiant efforts of those closest to him on the general classification listing. Today’s stage was won by Mark Dowling of ASEA-Wheelworx who also moved into the lead in the Points competition. Ali McCauley retained his jersey in the Mountains classification.
