Stage 3 (Don’t forget the clock change)
Undoubtably the Queen Stage! Stage 3 will commence from the Green Glens Arena, Millstreet under a 1.2km neutralised roll-out toward Rathmore.
The racing will get underway at 11:00am from the Millstreet Community Hospital just outside Millstreet.
The race will then proceed to Rathmore via the R582 road. On arrival at Rathmore we will complete a 55km loop back to Rathmore with the race turning right on the main N72 for 13km before turning left towards Newmarket.
From Newmarket we head to Ballydesmond, Knocknagree and back to Rathmore, to complete the loop, from where we take the road back to Millstreet but taking a detour to the right through Ballydaly Upper to take on the first major climb of the day.
We head back down towards Millstreet before we head back up to St John’s Well, the next challenge of the day, and down again to Millstreet before taking on the final climb of the day following the Butter Road, up the Kerryman’s Table and to the finish line.
The Stage is 115.4KM of racing in length approx.
